I bought the shoes for amateur running in gravel areas and forest trails. I had concerns due to the wide metatarsals I have, but the shoes lay great, they have been very comfortable since I started using them. Very good cushioning from the ground. Even though the shoes are heavily encased, they are one of the lightweight shoes and run like that too. I hope to run hundreds of kilometres in them.
